The custom crest…

An add-on that quickly became one of our most popular products.

Fun fact, I love a custom crest because of the intentionality and uniqueness that each one has. Like snowflakes, no two custom crests are the same. Each custom wedding crest represents the joining of two people, places they’ve lived, animals they love, venues that are special to them or their day, or maybe just a general day-of “vibe” that they want to express. If it is important to you, we can incorporate it into a custom crest.

And if you’re not getting married and still want a custom crest, I don’t blame you. There is not a more personalized stationery than a custom crest stationery set and they tend to make the perfect, intentional gift.

If you aren’t ready to commit to something fully custom, we have several semi custom options as well. Choose between a line drawing crest or a colored crest and one or two initials for each of our options. Each crest and lettering combos are hand illustrated and you will receive the file in jpg, png, and pdf formats.

Now what’s the difference between a Digital Only crest and a For Paper Eliza Paper Use crest?

The digital only crest product is for the bride who is printing and designing her stationery with another vendor and only needs the digital crest file. The finalized crest will be delivered in png, pdf, jpg, and vector ai files.

The Paper Eliza crest file is for the bride who is purchasing her save the dates, invitations, additional cards, and day-of paper from Paper Eliza in addition to her crest, which is why it is heavily discounted. This crest is only licensed for use on Paper Eliza paper products and if it is reprinted on a paper product from an outside vendor, the client is liable for a fee of an additional $400.00. This crest is only available for purchase when it is added to a cart with Paper Eliza additional wedding paper products, for example, but not limited to, save the dates, invitations, etc. The bride will be released her for-Paper-Eliza-use crest files (png, pdf, and jpg files) six weeks out from her wedding date for use on non Paper Eliza products (products that we do not have on our site), like cups, napkins, and other merchandise-like products.

 
 

 

Custom or Semi Custom Crest?

How do I choose?

 

Custom Crest

The fully custom crest is our OG favorite product. You can include anything and everything your heart desires into a crest that no one else in the world will have. Whether its the state flowers of the home states of you and your fiancé, your puppy, a ribbon running across the bottom of the crest, a shell to symbolize your seaside nuptials, or a mountain range peaking across the top of the crest, anything is possible in the design of your custom crest.

Pros:

The world is your oyster! Design-wise, we can create anything! And you are allowed several proofs to guarantee that we get it exactly right.

Cons:

More expensive than a semi custom crest and must allow design time to create that perfect proof.

 

Semi Custom Crest

Our semi custom crests aren’t second to the fully custom crests, they’re just for the bride who doesn’t have the exact vision for what she wants in her custom crest, and is happy with something floral and includes her initials. I have a lot of brides tell me that they’re not sure what they would want to include in their custom crest to symbolize their relationship, and this is the product for you! Still timeless, classic, and special but without the design time to build out something custom.

Pros:

Cheaper, quicker, and still feels custom and special!

Cons:

No changes are allowed to the crest except the addition of your monogram. You are allowed to change the color but are only allowed one proof and are not allowed multiple changes to see several colors.
